Our 10 commitments

to care for children's skin while respecting the environment

1. Producing certified organic and natural skincare

Since its inception, TOOFRUIT has chosen to have all its products certified organic by Ecocert.

This certification guarantees both a very high content of naturally derived ingredients – over 99% in our formulas – and a comprehensive approach that respects the environment.

This includes raw materials, manufacturing processes, packaging, and even our communication methods.

2. Developing products designed exclusively for children

TOOFRUIT was born from a simple observation: there were no organic and dermatological skincare products specifically designed for children aged 3 to 12. From the very beginning, we have dedicated all our energy to developing products adapted to their skin, their tastes, and their habits. This involves pleasant textures, fruity scents, practical formats, and playful communication.

Our mission is to help children take care of themselves naturally, while also raising their awareness of good practices for the planet.

3. Trusting Fruit

Each product contains two fruits chosen for their specific benefits on children's sensitive skin. These fruits are used in various forms, such as fruit waters obtained through distillation, extracts from natural macerations, or fruity fragrances that make the skincare routine enjoyable and indulgent.

Our name – TOOFRUIT – is a nod to this doubly fruity approach.

4. Banning Controversial Ingredients

We decided to go far beyond the requirements of organic labels.
Our formulas contain no ingredients considered harmful to children's
skin or the environment. This includes parabens, sulfates, silicones,
PEGs, artificial colors, endocrine disruptors, nanoparticles, and PFAS.

We also use airless bottles, which allow us to significantly reduce the need for preservatives while ensuring complete safety.

5. Made in France

Our products are made in France, in two partner factories located in Brittany and Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. These partners were chosen for their expertise and their adherence to strict quality standards.

Producing locally also allows us to reduce transportation, support the local economy, and promote French expertise in cosmetics.

6. Conduct tests on sensitive skin

Children's skin is still developing, thinner, drier, and more fragile than adult skin. That's why all our formulas are dermatologically tested on panels composed exclusively of people with sensitive skin.

These rigorous tests allow us to guarantee that our products are perfectly suited to the specific needs of children.

7. Ensuring Effectiveness

To guarantee that our products are truly effective on children's sensitive skin, we conduct rigorous testing. These tests are carried out under dermatological control and allow us to validate the effectiveness of each formula before it is released to the market.

This is our way of assuring you that gentleness also means performance.

8. Offering products without excess packaging

Reducing waste is central to our approach. That's why we've chosen not to use excess packaging.

Our products are sold only in their main packaging, which we make sure includes all the necessary information. This simple yet committed choice allows us to reduce our environmental footprint from the outset.

9. Use eco-designed packaging

We primarily use recyclable plastics such as PET, PE, and PP, which are properly
processed in French recycling streams. While not perfect, plastic helps
guarantee the integrity of the formula, prevent leaks, and ensure product safety during use.

We are actively exploring other alternatives, such as using recycled plastic,
aluminum, bio-based materials, or even eliminating packaging altogether
for certain solid product lines.

10. Opt for refillable and lightweight formats

To further reduce our plastic use, we have developed eco-refills for three hygiene products: facial cleanser, shower gel, and shampoo. These refills generate 80% less plastic and are fully recyclable in France.

Lighter in weight, they also reduce the environmental impact of transportation.
